I use http://www.grisoft.com... I use it on all my coms (got 3) and it works just perfectly.. helped me blocked viruses before and everything.. and best of all it's FREE...

i agree that this programme is one of the best free anti virus software....

there's some problem with my AVG anti-virus 7.1.

can anybody figure out the problem?

it's unable to connect to grisoft.com for updates, says update connection failed; no additional information is available.

i recently changed to singnet wireless broadband after tt cannot use liao.

I am also using AVG so far no problem. anyway they got give you any error reports? cos this may help with the problem.

Yea ive been using AVG for 3 years, pretty gd as a free AV, but its also one of those AV which i'd encounter false positive .. and it doesnt run on server OS (Win2k Adv/Server) .. i mean some home user may be running server OS

ClamAV is another free AV but it doesnt come with resident scanning .. clamAV also provides free gateway AV for *nix OS.

But do u guys rely solely on AV for ur security concern ? becoz nowadays those payware AV does come with more complete protections other than just AV technology.
