Need Advice

i am currently having a 3feet tank. just cycle for a month.

i have 2-3inches of dsb and 20kg of live rocks.plus some corals.

i am intending to keep only 2 damsels and 1 clownfish.

Do i still need a skimmer??

If U just want to keep 2 damsels & 1 clown , IMO don't need the Skimmer . Until U have more fishes ........

IMO, it is always better to be safe than sorry... Get the weipro one, it doesn't cost that much anyway...

i heard everywhere that skimmer is a must. even u have little fishes but your 20kg of LR will also produce dissolved organic compound which the skimmer help to get rid off.

IMO, get a skimmer is betta, in most cases pple becomes greedy n will buy more n more LS....

BTW, a skimmer can stabilise some of ur water conditions too.....

2-3 inches of sand is NOT a DSB.

You need at least 4 inches fine-grade sand in order for it to work propely as intended.

get a skimmer..... would be better... a fine skimmer dun cost that much.
