SRC Member onghm Posted August 29, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2003 Thanks for the compliments guys And actually all the above shots were taken using videocam....with some post-edit touchup Hi Bum, No i didn't know about the b/w exhibition. Even if I know, also won't have time to go. Tied down with 2 kids lah... Since grounded at home most of the time, try to amuse myself with my camera, my corals and my photoshop Again, thank you all for all the kind words! SRC Member onghm Posted August 29, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2003 wah~~~!!! wat camera u using? Its an old sharp video cam with a resolution of 770K pixel. I found that the video cam can produce "ok" close-up shots. But would be too grainy for normal full-tank shots. Th videocam can actually take closer shots than my newly bought digicam. For those with videocam at home, it worth trying out close-up shot. I would normally pressed the lens against the glass to minimise reflection as well as getting a more steady pic. If the subject is brightly lit and close enough to the glass, the success rate will be quite high. Believe me, give it a try! Especially those who has videocam with > 1Mb pixel resolution.
