beach resort for hols

anyone have any beach resorts to recommand? places like bintan island..

family looking for a 3d2n place to relax.. prefered around malaysia..

no diving or snorkling.. just want to enjoy the beach life and the pool!

Nirwana Garden at Bintan is a pretty good resort hotel . All the amenities but tend to be a bit crowded at pool area. A much quieter option is Mayang Sari at Bintan , nice rustic chalets along the beach. No pool though, just you and the beach. Great for couples. Virtually no acitivty, just zone out and chill.

Can try Bintan Lagoon, but personally no experience.

Sabana cove at penggerang? 45 minutes ferry ride only..

If u wan private beach, go to Chedi at Phuket. Only 1+hr flight.

decided to go to phuket.. chedi looks good any other place to recommand? hope to see some marine life around the beaches

I was deciding between between Chedi and Marriot the last visit but decided on Chedi because its nearer to patong.

Chedi beach is private and you will not get to see any coral there. But its a gd place to relax and paly in the shallow waves. For corals, advise you to go for the snorkelling trips.

For snorkelling, dun bother going to Phi Phi island. Nothing much to see. Similan island is better but further away. I didn't get to try coral island and it may be a worth while trip.
