Tank Temperature

New to reefing. Can someone advise if the Tank Temp. at 27'c acceptable for a fish and light reef tank?

27 is ok! but if can reduce it even more! hehe then u get ultimate results :)

place ur tank in airy areas? under a fan? or even where there is more air circulation will help reduce the temp :)

I believe that there is often a misconception on lower the temp. the better

For a reef, temp of not more than 30 degrees or 1 degree below the border is all right.

I set my tank's temp. at 28 degrees and the everything is doing fine and some of the mushies are even splitting

In fact, I've read a post in RC that low temperatures may slow down biological catalytic reactions and cause corals to slowly die off

yah I agree... read a lot of articles actually recommending temp of around 27-28deg celcius...
