Use a beta box to trap and remove the maroon clown 1st, maroon clowns are always a menace!

People do not plan to fail; Often they just fail to plan...

Wat I do to prevent myself from tearing my hair out... My stress remedy...

Catch them in th middle of the night a few hours after lights are completely off. Normally, the fish will be very blur.. just like us waking up at 3am by someone.. Just switch on the lights and it will be very shock and blur.. very easy to catch... I caught my YT this way...

Otherwise get a trap...

take out everything, do a aquascaping job, add in ur new purchase, then lastly, add in ur tomato clown. it will be like a new environment to him, and the 2 new clowns are like permanent residents to him and he wouldn't dare to do anything funny.

You can try to use a crab trap to catch your tomato ...

1) Use a 1.5l used water bottle.

2) Cut from the top.

3) Invert the top into the 2nd half of the bottle ... ie, the mounth of the bottle is now pointing at the bottom of the bottle ... try to imagine, ok? :)

4) put some prawn meat or food inside the bottle ...

5) Wait ....

6) Once your tomato swim in ... remve the bottle ... it will be so panicky that it normally will not be able to escape.

Please make sure that the opening of the bottle mouth is just big enough for your tomato to pass through ...

I learnt this from neokn ... and it works ... I managed to caught my Strawberry dottyback with the method. :heh:

Good luck!!

they is what i do to prevent fights everytime before i introduce new livestock..... dunno if it works for you and this method may put stress on other fish.... you can put pipes, bottles and nets or any non other metallic stuff into the tank to confuse the fish (create a totally different scaping if you don't want to rearrange the rocks).... immediately release the new fish into the tank with other confused fishes..... wait half a day or so and then remove all the stuff that you put into the tank..... :D

gdluck

i agree with ekia.

i done the same thing too. tomato & fire is the feast one in clown fish family. this is wat i heard from others. so if ur tank is not big enough, dun ever buy this fish from the begining.

All the best. ;)
