Pls help to ID this coral

It look like favia but it is more meaty than the favia show in the same photo.

This photo shows it is in feeding mode. Its feeding response is quite strong once it smells food around it.

Received some PM that request for the frag for it. But sorry I have not intention to frag it since I can't take the risk and I have no experience in doing so. :paiseh:

I thought I saw a few guys posting the ID of the corals....

you have doubts believing them or you are not reading the replies?

acanthastrea lordhowensis

here's a variant specimen...they come in different colours.

Got the pic from an LFS.

if you want more info on it...can also consider going RC and check it out....they even have some fragging techniques shared there.

I am so use to the common name of coral (brain, moon, hammer and etc) so I am not realized that "Acanthastrea Lordhowensis" is the scientific name of this coral. :paiseh:
