Any ranchu lovers?

I find ranchus simply adorable..... starting a new ranchu tank. Got a few baby ranchus from Dreaminc, but really novice at goldfishes. Anyone with same interest? Where do you get your goldfishes? My budget is around $50 bucks for two incher. Not sure if it's realistic cos I know the nice ones can go in the hundreds.

Anyone care to share?

I know a place near Beach Road called the " Rachu Palace" has very nice Rachu there, but quite ex tho.

I use to have black ranchus with me but now fully concentrate on marine liao!!

Drop by pet safari lor...Look for me..haha..got both normal ranchus and black ranchus. About fist size. Think around $50 or less...can't remember the price.

Qian hu have some nice ones, but you have to choose carefully. The shop near 35D at Pasir Ris also have some nice ones. And there is on at Simon Road, but price tag also similar to Ranchu Palace.

I think near the mosque. If you know Tamiya, there is the distributor shop along that lane. Ranchu Place should be before the Tamiya distributor shop. Always passby Ranchu place whilst going to Tamiya.

If u like very good grade thai ranchu go to LCK farm, not japanese type...

There is a fishshop near chomp chomp at serangoon gardens...half the shop selling ranchus, from Japan (beyond your budget) and the thais (within your budget) can take a look there.

Ranchu Palace has shifted to upper serangoon area. exactly where not too sure. May be can try yellowpages.

Bro, if you have a small tank, dun keep too many of them... Last time I had a 4 feet tank with about 18 ranchus! Too many actually, and when the fish caught disease, all died... all my 18 show-grade ranchus...

I sis lah. Keeping about 10 in 3ft. hehe... it's easy to over stock i think. But 5 of my ten is only 2 cm in size. Super cute!

Hmmm...so many people keeping ranchu..goldfish really that easy to keep meh? Last time I keep goldfish and guppy always die one. Gave up and went tetra crazy.

As long as you treat the water well, to remove chloramine and chlorine, provide lotsa air ( air stone? ) it's pretty simple...

In fact goldfishes do well in green water in contrary to what many think...
