some of my polyps doesnt open neh.. i seen my bluefin damsel ard them sometime.. anyone has tis fish and can advice? if itz his fault, then gota flush him dwn le..

oh.. nope, not sps, not so expert wor.. mine is colony or duno wat zoo they call ba? some polyps didnt open, some part of them.. think bcoz of tt bluefin damsel? he seems picking sth frm there neh?

oh neh...never mind neh...get the "damsel" a prince charming ba and she won't peck at the zoo neh...the "damsel" will then peck at the prince charming wor - peck where i dun know ba...no mantles nor polys le.....

Look out for tiny white creatures... if the zoos indeed have nudibranches, the damsel may be doing good for you! Keep a close look at it for the next few days, if there are really nudibraches, suggest you do a fresh water soak for about 2-3 minutes on the colony... if not when the nudibranch gain foothold by multiplying in numbers.... say bye bye to your colony!

nudibranches? what are they? they harmful? tis damsel got eat special type of coral anot de? tis zoo i put intro in 2days ago, coz they are ard some mushroom oso.. i got old zoo, they got open fully lar.. my damsel is ard the new one neh.. hmm.. what is it telling ah? planning an attack? when they open fully?

Nudibranches are pests in this case, they're predominantly white in colour and also very small in size, if u look very closely, u may be able to see them moving...

Anyway, do spend some time to look for them for if they spread, it might attack ur other colonies....

If its a case of acclimatisation, it's about the coral getting used to the new "surroundings", the older colonies may be very stable already, so they can withstand the water conditions... So you may wanna check all your water parameters to make sure....

If the damsel is always disturbing the colony, den it could be becoz of the damsel that's why the colony refuse to open.... But the damsel could be picking at the colony becoz of the nudibranch, so u wanna check everything...
