Could anyone help to ID this.It appear for about 5 days than vanish & reappear the same spot again .about a month later.

Looks like red slime/cyno. If you can use a small tube to suck it all out, then it has to be cyno, not a good algae as a result of less than perfect water parameters.

Don't think its a red slime or cyno cause use to have them which doesn,t looks like it.

It's too hairy to be cyanobacterial growth.

What that is is probably some kind of red hair algae.

Unless cyano's growing on the red hair algae!
