U may buy it at supermarket, but most of them r in freeze and good for cooking soup.

Danger to keep its in u tank, will eat u little fish!!!

u want to keep fishes like this one? looks ancient.. and maybe would require a huge tank.. and everytime u feed it, it would warrant a 25% water change..

maybe even re-arrange your rockwork if u have any..(falling rocks = broken tank)

in my humble opinion, i won't keep such fishes.. maybe alone by itself in a tank like an arowana if i have the space..

maybe u can try seafood restaurants... but as u said, they are in horrid conditions..

Yes, it is carnivorous and can grow 1m long. Keeping it with morays and groupers.
