Connecting CR to tank

depends on what made is ur CR. normally, a complete CR will come with bubble counter, recirculation pump, etc.

u will need to get urself Ca media e.g. ARM, CO2 cannister, regulator (with dual gauge and needle valve will be good), silicon tubing, pH controller (if compatible). .......... i think that's abt it. ;)

Oops. first of all apologies for the whole section.

I am having a macro CR. There is a tube in from the main tank which water is supposed to flow into the CR. However, I believe there should be a pump to drive the water into the CR. My question is the tube provided for the intake is about the size of an air tube. Cannot find a pump that can fit that size piping.

a tee junction will solve ur worries. u dun need a seperate pump to feed water into the CR. tee off from the main return pump will do.

as wad lightingstrike said ....teeoff lor..for Eg:if u have some return pumps or chillers pipes,FR Etc,etc jus poke a hole which is the size of the air hose and jus chunk it in, water will flow thru the CR already...

Poke a hole? :o

:lol: I think he meant get a pipe T-shaped connector. Should be available at most LFS, think Petmart got. The tee-off will be the size of the air-pipe, so no worries.

yea......haha...sorry if its a native way of doing so , but yes, i do use the soldering iron to solder a small tiny hole jus nice for my tube and just insert it in. :lol:

BUt for my Aquamedic CR, i am using the tee-off T-Tube from Aquamedic ,and its good. :rolleyes:
