HOW TO TUNE SKIMMER

Hi all, i'm been cycling my tank for almost 2 weeks now and i realise that my skimmer isn't skimming anything. its a weipro 2012 and i've already adjusted the water level such that its higher than the marking on the skimmer but it still doesn't seem to get anything over into the filter cup. any idea why? tank only got live rock and 3 fish so far...

skimmer is brand new and its been on for 2 weeks now...

Hi, you may want to bring it higher... up to the neck level where the cup joins the body.

Also try to tune for finer bubbles from your air intake (add a tap valve if you can)

Finally try to resist opening the outlet tap too much as it makes the skimmer less efficient when too many bubbles escape along with the water.
