Ac fan with mh light

Hi,would like to know if i put a 150watt mh light above the water around 6-8inchs with 1 ac fan blow across the surface water,will this bring down the temp below 28 without chiller?

My main tank is 2X2X2 with 2X1.5X1.5 sump,total around 55g.

1 12" AC fan.

Lowest temp can reach 24.0 when air con is on.. Thats why I off my fan when I on my air con..

In hot afternoons around 27.0 - 27.5 with fan on.

Sometimes I let the temp creep up to 28.5 then I on the fan. In the day I usually maintain the temp within 27.0 - 28.0 degrees with MH and fan on..

My fan blows directly at the surface of main tank water, not across it

Dun think so.. it's those 12 cm AC fan.. made in Taiwan I think

I use 2 PC fan blowing at the water and 1 AC fan across... can maintain ard 28 degree on a normal day. tank is 3ft.

manage to maintain my 2ft cube with

150wmh

2*55pl

2*24 T5

at a average temp of 28.5 to 29.5 with window close with a help of a 0.90a 12V DC fan but topping up of water will be at almost 1.5l per day
