Lighting for clams

Heloo Clam Lovers!

want to setup a CLAM tank..... the tub i using is those 3 by 2 by 1 ft blue guppy tub. using 150 watt mh. the water depth less than 12inch..... maybe 10 inch ba...... will 150 be enough? the temp of the mh is 6500K. Pls advice.

hi chinmo, IMHO, 150W MH shld hv enuff intensity to keep those less light demanding clams if ur tub is shallow enuff.

think mainly will be squamies...... then croceas.... my tub only 1 ft in height..... think shuld be okie ba.......

T5 tubes also can do for 1ft height, wouldn't heat up the water somemore.

Btw, sounds like a pretty cool project!
