T5 lighting for 2 feet

Yo! Super new to DIY,so pls pardon this simple question: Got a light holder that is arched shape on fitted with 6.5 inch aluminum. Thinking of DIY 4xT5,anybody can show me the steps? Thx a million!

Ur description of the light holder is quite vague. Is it a housing that is 6.5" wide? Double tube FL housing?

There are some posts on normal lights mod to T5 type, maybe u want to read it first.

Thx,read le. My housing is 2.5 feet long, but sides got metal block,trying to dismantle it,think it may be a fan or sth. It is used to house double 2feet FLs. The with is 6inches. But internal is arched. So can fit a arched 6.5 inches reflector..thinking of using the spider reflector thingy. I drill the tube holder onto the reflector?
