Thanks... Wow you're really sharp... can see the reflection from the glass surface.

It is really tough taking care of the baby and the fish tank... :cry: I will somehow survive (i hope). ;) They are both such a joy to my life... :D You have 2 kids and you managed... You must share the secret to your success...

Suggestion:

Maybe you should adjust to face your clam upwards.

Allow it to open fully to accept more light or even raise it up higher...

unless you;re running a 400W MH tt is.... ;)

The clam refused to stay upright... :cry2: Everytime I put it upright, it leans to the side (current position) after a while . I give up trying to change its position so I just left it as it is...

Any suggestions as to how to keep the clam upright...

Me at that time do not hv marine tank so is ok for me.Thats also another result why I downgrade from 3ft to 2ft cos hv to save more money on my kids.During first 6mth will be very tough for u but after that shd be relax liew.

Very nice setup. Wanted something like yours but not enough space. Already got a 4ft FW planted tank. Trying my luck with low tech nano tank (only 25L) .

May I know what to expect next? Noticing some algae growth on the LR and some on the tank. Do you recommend that I get some cleaner shrimps, hermit crabs or snails?

Hope you don't mind me asking questions in your thread. Trying to learn from the experts out there.

Patience is the key of reefkeeping and me no expert still learning.Having aglae could be not enough calculation to clear off detritus on LR,high nitrate or phosphates.For green hair aglae u can get tangs or rabbitfish.For brown diatoms u can get algae blenny or Turbo snail.

Finaly after 3mths my tank ready to put in corals liew :yeah: .Just bought my first coral red Goniopora with blue tip from Bioocean today.Started to open after 15mins when place into tank.
