Hi. Not to be paranoid or something. I had the same tank (same brand, same dimensions) as you, rearing freshwater fishes. It burst on me one day (after two yrs of use) and flooded the house. It was just freshwater inside, no rocks, nothing. You might wanna take some precautions.

the final positioning, my tank crashed 3 weeks ago when my dad accidently over pour the pellets and the whole bottle of pellets was in... tried to recover as many as possible but only can save the 2 snails and my mushroom...

These photos are taken fresh from my tank... did all the test and was well.

your tank is not mature enough for a mandarin...mandarin feeds on copepods, and usually new tanks dun have this kind of food in abundance...

perhaps your LRs already has some copepods...perhaps u might wanna dose more planktons to increase the copepod's populations so tat your mandarin will not stuff..

For the Mandarin ...hmm... ya i know it feeds on copepod and i've tried to dose planktons once a week to keep it alive.

The rocks need some arranging ... give me some advise guys... i think very messy leh ....

Looks good so far! Where did you get your overflow from? How much? I wanna get 1 so I can add a sump to my 2 footer!

next time get more corals will cover up the rocks

i think u should get bigger LR. Small pcs stack together will be a bit shakey. if u get LS like hermit crab once it climbs the LR will collaspes. Better be safe then sorry

dun u think that your nitrogen cycle is not completed with high nitrite and nitrate.

With the high nitrate, your coral will not last long.

Nitrite are harmful to fishes.

Think you should slow down. wait b4 adding any more live stock.

Nano tank IMO, should be fully stable with undetectable ammonia and nitrite and <10 nitrate b4 proceeding as a little mistake in a small tank results in dead stuff....

hi Steven, thanks for ur opinion, but i've started my tank since october and have been controlling the nitrate and nitrite well, doing regular changes of water.

The tank is fully Cycled b4 and LS was added.
