Sorry to ask Bro, but is this tank meant for marine?

1) Tank Washed and ready for setting up.

2) Water filling and ensure no leakage. (actually done chking when collect the tank)

3) DIY sump ready, Pardon me for the bad workmanship. The silicon part very messy, but tested no leakage.

4) Due to overflow box not ready yet so have to use the hang on filer to stand in for a while sand and salt mixed … the water very muddy… washed the sands for 6 times le but still like cannot make it. 1st batch of 10kg #1 sand.

5) The first batch of sand already make up 1 1/2” of the bedding. Going to add in 2nd batch once washed and ready

6) ½ hour after the filtering still muddy… guess need longer time for the hang-on filter to work on.

7) Oct 20th, Add in 2nd batch of #1 sand. The first batch already turning dark color already. Wash sands till my hand numb ah … PUB bills high liao

8) Measure average 3” of sand bed. Hope can do the purpose. *pray pray*.

9) Time for spiking party. Market prawn … here it comes.

11) Took with my blue actinic light. Can’t really see the difference. Some LRs from my previous tank. Hmm getting more soon … pay pay come faster ….

12) Side view. Need to improve on my lightings … too bad my MH bulb died on my when setting up guess too long didn’t use…

u should get all yr liverocks then cycle

yeah man.. agree too.. bro, u shld get a 2500l/hr pump for return i think shld be enough.. depend on wad diameter/inch pipe u using tat is.. for me, i uses a atman 104 which is 2200l/hr. And ya, buy a weipro 500 rather than 300 for ur FR. 500 is rated 600l/hr which i think is gd for FR. Well done, get ur LRs asap.

i'm using weipro300 tuned down to min flow with its built in tuner...that's y he thinking weipro300.

but if 500 has the built in tuner then i guess no harm getting a more powerful one.

remember...as long as rowa dance and there's water coming out frmo outlet....its strong enough...doesn't matter if water trickles in and out
