I have a ghost eel which only eats live fishes.. I tot I read and was told that they prefer live shrimps.. ;) .. mine isn't even interested.. is there a reason? <_<

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Might be just because the eel doesn't have a liking for shrimps or its just that the shrimps are too small to be of interest to the eel.

but the shrimp can be of the same size compared to the fishes.. still it doesn't like it.. odd eel.. <_<

but its really interesting to see it hunt fishes.. swim around like a mad eel dashing towards fishes.. :P

no fun, but have sense of achievement, ribbon eels are very difficult to feed and most specimens die within first month due to refusal of food. getting it to feed and even weaning it to frozen meat was really satisfaying for me ..

feed market fish/prawn meat healthier, cheaper.. u feed freshwater mollies?

Freshwater mollies not good for marine fishes in the long term as they lack necessary fatty acids.

I think its the opposite.... freshwater fish has TOO MUCH fat content... leading to liver failure in marine fishes.
