platinum
i have bought a star polys for a week already. when i 1st saw it in the shop, the flowers all opened, but when i bring it home, it only opened a few for the last one week. initially, i had placed it in a higher level, but i have shifted to the bottom level. can i know what are the factors which will affect the star polys & caused it not to open? i have placed the star polys at lower level. is this correct? also, does it require strong or low water current? pls help! i have attached a pix of the star polys: where u can see only a few buds opened. SRC Member UFO Posted November 5, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted November 5, 2004 platinum, based on my own experience, it will takes at least a week to open fully. also place it higher, best near to your overflow. No direct powerhead blowing at it. make sure it sits firmly on yr base rock. yr pcs looks very light with little rocks attached to it. once u place it at the best position, dun move/touch it anymore. it will take a few days for it to open fully. btw, congra, u got yrself a very nice pcs of green star polyps. hope it helps. cheers ufo
