Tried many ways but still fail to control the cyno

Recommended Posts

No offence taken at all, Ancelot.

It's definitely a species of hair/turf algae, characterized by having long single strands coming out from the root.

Dino would look almost like a cross between diatoms/cyano patches but much more stubborn to go away.

Sorry everyone for that confussion of the IDing of the algale ..peace :peace:

and Thanks for trying to help me ID it..apperciate it much

Somthing that i spotted about it was that, it blooms rapidly in high flow area...so u know :sick::sick: , witout circulation area, which is my LPS and mussies area , it dont drow that fast, except for my SPS area, it is blooming like hell...i need to check if my SPS have gotton any algale bloom till touches and stays there..but for now, it cant reach it yet as i am purninng it every every day, cant leave it witout a day , the SPS sure will become hariy...seeking adopters for the SPS now...not really have a safe mind lettting it stay there..crossing my fingers...

Its very frustrating...Thought of shutting down again , but because of th2 2 pass crashes and the investments in this hobby, i decided to try my best to combat it ...but it seems to be of the low chance...skimmer is skimming mud for the pass 3 days..but after that , it dosent seems so, now i tune it to the wettest mood possible...

changged 20% water again...dose kallwasser daily...

duno if i should try the lighting method again, blackout for 4days

in a "ding dong mind now swrielling abt " and i HAte this agale..1st in my list..;)

I feel for you too dude... :nc:

well.. algae bloom is a phase some people skip past it some didnt.. so its not about luck maybe its because of something else? dont feel sorry for yourself.. actually i find it a blesssing not to mention about the combat part.. at least you got the experience of whats an algae bloom now currently ranked 1st in your most hated list.. but those like me who didnt get it will face troubles when we get it in the future.. So if you say " Poor me " i think you should say " Poor us "

Just my 2 cents worth...
