Rainwater to mix salt?

:unsure: erm..always had tis on my mind, would like to hear frm experts here.. can rainwater collected and used to mix salt? Anyone here tried b4 ah? will it harm? :P:bow:

hmm..... IMHO, i think rainwater might not be that good. With all the fume emission in Singapore, rainwater could contain acid, dust, and other stuff like that. Unless you want to pass it through some sort of filtration, which perhaps using tapwater would be easier, I wouldn't take the risk.

Plus of course you need a big container to collect enuff water, enough time on your hands to wait for it to fill up, and rain prayers..... leh chey lah...... :P

water from our taps r processed by PUB. even so, some reefers hv decided to go thru further RO/DI filtration. so what makes u think it will be safe to use rainwater? :erm:

Yup, do not use rainwater as it is full of dissloved pollutants

Tapwater at least is better as it contains some trace elements
