SRC Member ckevin Posted November 10, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted November 10, 2004 What a nice nano you have got there! It is definitely one of the better nanos i have seen. I also like the way you run your pipings and have them all hidden very well. I guess that is part of the art. Keep it up!
SRC Member andysho Posted November 10, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted November 10, 2004 just a Q are those lights enought to keep the colours of sps? what about the current too?
SRC Member ckevin Posted November 10, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted November 10, 2004 just a Q are those lights enought to keep the colours of sps? what about the current too? Our own master SPS guru Danano ran his amazing nano under PCs for quite a while before switching to T5s. If you calculate watt/gal for Naxo's tank.. it is (4x36w)/16 = 9w/gal Although this is not the most accurate measurement of par, it is a good estimate. That is considered rather strong lighting in any context. You may want to do the simple maths on other tanks

NAx0
It is certain. that I have much amount of light, if single there were 2x36w, would not be therefore the SPS. Many of them come from iluminations of 250w, and under my pc's has improved of color.
