green algae starting to form on my LR.. wat should i do? did a 20 % water change to reduce nitrates but nitrates still abit high. any quick way to bring it down? thanks in advance..

and also will adding LS into the tank affect water parameters? coz i added in some LS in just last night..

erm.. maybe tell us more abt ur tank dimensions, and the number of LS in it.. and how frequent u feed them..

-AZno3 cost about 40plus

-denitrator need quite sometime to mature b4 it's useful..you can pm lightingstike and ask him about it..he's using one..

-as for refugium, it's good for exporting nutrients

az no3 is 38 at c328 but other places is 40 or more. if u see higher than 40, juz bargain to 40, even at rainbow.

I used the Tetra Nitrate remover (the granule form). Seems to be working quite well. Nitrate is zero.

Sorry but what test kit you using? Used Tetra Nitrate remover before but no use leh.

the outlet water flow always stop intermittently, have to always adjust and very difficult to adjust lei. any solution ?

Don't like to use denitrators as it requires really fine tuning and will produce hydrogen sulphide if not tuned properly and this will cause you to restart again
