Came upon this thread in RC!!!!

Basically you secure a fishing line on the ric and it'll naturally split from the fishing line. A natural and hassle free way to propagate your corals without you even to cut them. I'm going to try this out on my yumas soon!!!

Floridas coming in next week, so those who got the specimens can try to propagate them. Anyway, I'm willing to accept any frags as my parents forbid me from buying a mushie that costs $40-$50

hey bro blueheaven,

i got a question to ask u .. since u seems quite successful in fraging..

i tried fraggin one of the common green yumas, although it recovered. but the colour of the frag bleached... is that a common problem for u .. ??

Hi, when my mushies are fragged, the frags will appear a little translucent for a few days but after that, they usually return to normal colours.

You might want to give them a bit more lighting so as to promote zooxathellae production.
