GRO lights... isn't that pink and suited for plants only?

MH comes in different categories and different wattages.... so it's hard to generalise as some are for general facade lighting and very different from those we use for reefing.

IMO, FLs lack the punch to penetrate deep and only MHs are capable of doing that. FLs cover more length so does a MH bulb with good reflector.

FLs are good for people who keeping softies and have shallow tanks.
