Encourageing Coraline algae growth with actinic

A LFS owner told me to keep Actinic on all night+Calcium reactor to encorage Coraline algae growth. Any truth in that? I know that CA prefer,low light intensity,but actinic... l

actually, i did nothing to encourage the growth...don't even have CR...this is wat i managed in 3-4mths...i dose kalk everyday for my 3-4ltr evaporation..

i think since it is not a very difficult thing to grow, i suggest that u dun worry too much or spend too much on it..just let nature do it..

agree... just make sure u got high enough calcium and kh + low phosphates.. coralline algae will just come...

some questions, read somewhere the sg should be around 1.024, is that true?

Also we can also scrap someone coralline algae from their their and put in inside our tank ?
