T5 wiring help

hie need so expert help regarding the above problem.

i have 4 tube 3 daylights and 1 actinic... i want to put 3 on/off switch

one switch for controling 2 daylights

one switch for daylight

one switch for actinic

Question 1.

if i want to put a on/off switch that control 2 daylights and i plan to put it on the main power input. where should i put it at? Live wire or neutral wire?

Question 2.

For actinic and daylight which wire i should put the on/off switch at?

1,3,5,7 or 2,4,6,8 ?

using elbiru eballast....

What type of on-off sw are you using? Be careful since no all on-off sw are suitable for 230V ac supply

Why not just connect the Live/Neutral/Earth wire to a 3-pin plug and use the socket on-off sw. It is safer by doing so.

think u should use timer switch. Cos end of the day you will find it better than manual on/off the light. And also the coral would get use to the correct timing.

the reason why im doing this is because one ballast contain 2 T5 one daylight and one actinic..

i wish to control which one to be switch on....if i put the 3pin plug without any on off switch then it will power up both at once....

simple.. u can place ur sw along any wire.. except wire 4 cos its the shared one, well u can if u want to on/off 2 tubes at once..

nway, just rem that a sw is only a line breaker.. so in this case.. u can place ur sw on wire 1 and 8. this will control individual lights..
