Hi,

Anyone with on hand experience with Quietone pumps ? I am looking at the 4000HH or the 6000.

Is the flow rated to what it is suppossed to be ?

As compared with a Eheim 1262 , which actually gives more flow at 6ft head loss ?

My personal experience is that many pumps with graphs have exaggerated ratings.

I own quietone 4000l HIGH HEAD for skimmer and ehiem 1262.

Intially I bought Quietone 6000l and exchange for 4000l because it consume 110W

IF I am not wrong and lower HD.But I tried it as a return It provide better flow than the 4000l .Well in my opinion 6000l highest flow (110w) 4000l HD (80w)second

last ehiem 1262(80W) All the pump can be external. (My Quietone 4000l running for month).

I'm using a QuietOne 6000 at 5800 l/hr. So far so good.

Its been running for more than three weeks now & I don face with any problem. Initial firing-up will produce a bit of sound which later subside to almost inaudible even to the bionic ears of Steve Austin (6mill $ man lah).

Good flow rate & unique design of impeller compared to most branded pumps.
