Nah, that won;t happen.... if you look at the overflow tower properly, you will see 2 planes of glass siliconed inside the tower...

Why flood when pump fails? :lol: Used the same system in my old man's tank. ;)

After reading your post, dun really understand what you trying to say......

Flood from where ?? main tank or sump??

I think I need more sleep ..... :blink:

nice setup.......... :) i also got my new tank recently too...... :D

by looking at ur setup, its not possible for u to mount those SE MH.....as the hood is too close to the water level.....unless u make a new hood.

what i suggest that, u remove the top hood cover (can keep in the store room). DIY the MH like mine to sit on top of the tank bracing.

raise the MH about 8-10 inches above the water level using aluminium stand.

2x150watt would be nice............ ;) for ur setup...... unless u want to go for SPS.
