Hi

Just wanted to know anyone here use the above mentioned chiller or other microchiller? May I know where can I get them here in Singapore? R they good or reliable?

The reason I'm asking here is I dont want to have a big chiller which produce heat and noise, so I hope this the the other alternative.

It looks something like below

:thanks:

may not work well. unless you get few of The IceProbe Chiller and fix them onto your sump.

It is only effective for 10gallons of water and only able to cool 3.3degree to 4.4 degree. However, the water in your sump > pump to your tank'' . Insufficient time for the chiller to cool your 3ft tank. or > if it does cool down the water temp in your sump. When the water > pump back to your tank.. the temp different > too small. Note that .. Room temp, lighting, pumps will still warm up > your main tank' etc.

thus this method may not work. unless you get a few of iceprobe chiller. By then> the total cost of buying these iceprobe = cost of a chiller for your tank. Different > the energy consumption. but still>> even with few few iceProbe chillers> no guarantee that it will work . :o using fans > cheaper. ;)

You may use on a 2 ft tank which bring down only 1 or max 2 deg only. I had use it before on a 2 ft tank. Also I use it on my terrarium which is also 2 ft for my frogs. If you plan on using it on a 3 ft tank forget it.
