Hi Guys thks for all yr feedbk.

I'm new to marine & is still learning /hopefully will get it right eventually.

Those rocks u guys see is just setup as a foundation for more liverocks to be added later this week. Still waiting for bettter rocks to come in this week......

So far this is what i hve for my 3 ft setup:

1x 2014 weipro connected to a model 1250(1200L/hr) eheim pump

1x eheim 1250 connect to a 0.5HP Reef chiller(Thks to Dr Chill)

1x eheim 1250 inside sump just solely for overflow system

1x deltec 250 wattts MH (order & coming in from ML later)

Coming back to my tank design, the whole stretch of 36" x 8" act as the sumptank

behind.

This design has been proven in marine keeping before but of course due to smaller sumptank (filter system),must be careful in stocking up & also monitoring closely on water parameter.

Regards

wah.. nice landscape.. hm.. perhaps should add more LR.

Yes , at least another 20kg of liverock will be added in this week.

I'm trying the method as you see in my pic posted to create less 'dead spot' in the tank.

Instead of using PVC pipes & plastic sheets , i hope using flat liverock will be of better choice in long run as they can act as a platform for beneficial bacteria.

Will also be adding hard/soft corals at a later stage when water parameter improved.......

Regards

Hi Interocean,

maybe u can look at some pics of fellow reefers' tank. Get more ideas on how u want to aquascape yr tank to look more natural.

Sorry if this will offend u, just my 2 ct worth of opinion. It looks like BBQ pit/stone table to me. Maybe everyone is looking forward to the sept BBQ party.
