weipro in sump?

is it possible to use weipro skimmer in a 1.5ft sump tank?

sump is divided into 3 parts

1st section - input from overflow from main tank with protein skimmer inside sump

middle section - dsb with microalgae

last section - pump to return water back to main tank

is this possible with weipro 2013?

1st section is normally for u to put your filter material, like filter wool or some would also put bioballs/ceramic rings/ LR/ biohomes etc. 1.5ft is a bit difficult to divide into 3 sections with enough space for both refugium and skimmer. Otherwise, u can only hang the weipro on the outside of the sump and place the pump in the sump.

Refugium needs to be at least a certain surface area to be effective. If I remeber correctly, its 70% surface area of the main tank. Otherwise, no point having a refugium.

hmm but my weipro can still be placed within the sump if i do away with the middle portion rite? cos i dont want anything hanging on my main tank.. ugly..
