See a doctor. Don't take it lightly.

http://edcenter.med.cornell.edu/CUMC_PathN.../Immuno_02.html

I quote:

Type I or immediate-type hypersensitivity is an allergic reaction induced by specific antigen (called allergen), provoked by reexposure to the same antigen (by contact, inhalation, ingestion, injection), mediated by specific IgE antibodies, and produced by the cellular release of histamine and other vasoactive mediators, resulting in an immediate local or systemic reaction (anaphylaxis)

Always something more important than fish.

This is serious... your next cut could sent you into seizure coz you're allergic to the coral. Each exposure will worsen the condition.

I try not to put my hands into the water whenever I have a cut.

Anyone who has been diving or snorkelling and scrapped against corals will be assured of a painful time for many days... infection is guaranteed.

bro moron_clown, when there is pus, it means that it is infected so you need to see a doctor and take a course of antibiotics. prolonged infections can lead to blood poisoning but before that happens, you probably lose ur finger first due to gangrene. please consult a doctor asap.

cheers!

Quick go to a clinic and get a jab. Remember to tell the doctor you got stung by coral, or else he won't know what medicine to give you.

I kenna stung at the palm area and causes my whole palm to swollen... better be careful.

Read in an old issue of FAMA that this kind of sting are very serious. That guy (who is a nurse) thought that he it will heal, it did not even after he tried to self medicate.

Luckily, one of the doctor (who does lots of research on marine toxic) in the hospital he is working for spotted it diagnose it correctly and finally the correct cure was found.

Better see a doctor and tell him about it and if it doesn't heal, go to a specialist.
