Just passed by macpherson rd just now ans saw 2 LFS..One is soon li aquarium, the other i didnt see clearly the name, quite near to soon li too, think is 1 bus stop different.

Anyone been to the 2 shops before? how is the price? Thanks

Hi,

Yap one is Soon Li and the other one is Gold Coast Aquarium. The price at Gold...... is abit steep but life stocks are 'Q' and eating properly with pellets food before selling to the public. As for Equipment there is nothing much.....

The other one is soon li which i would recommend to your guys coz if any of you guys get your stocks from Pasir Ris Farms like Ah Beng... n etc or from Aqua star then you can go to him coz they get most of their stocks from him. And his stocks are very healthy and eating damn well from mysis and he will 'Q' his stocks till there are ready to be sold to the public. He also carries Topic Marine and Rea Sea products. Price wise you pay for good quailty life stocks.

Note: Both of this shops are new and open at least 6 myhs already. For soon li it was formerly a fresh water fish shop but a new owner just recently took over and is slowly converting it into a marine shop. So please do not expect much from them at the moment.

The last point the owner of soon li is formerly from Se..... and Har..... so he as alot of experience in this line.

I will let you guys find out who the owner is (Soon ....) coz some reefers may not like him becz of his direct frank style of talking.

Anyway if you guys go to Toa Payoh Bus Interchange you can take either service no. 90 or 8. Travel time is about 20 mins on a smooth flowing traffic. Once you see Windsor Hotel (Formerly Great Eastern Bldg) and a BP Petrol Kiosk press the bell and alight at the bus stop and you will see Gold Coast Aquarium right in front of you.

As for Soon Li walk straight down and you will see Mazda Showroom cross the traffic light turn left and walk abt two shop and you will c the shop.

The other buses you guys can take are Service No. 62 (from hougang) or 151 landmarks are as per above instruction and you should be able to find your way there.
