Those.. from the front look the eadge is curve.... hmmm wonder how thick is the thick of the glass... cos my friend is thinking of letting go his.... and i am considering... intend to use it for my marine tanks..... so can ???? antz Posted August 25, 2003 Author Share Posted August 25, 2003 i did ask him to measure.. he said.. being cover up with a plastic..... so i went down to see.... it is a total cover up tank...... the top cover is a matel casing..... between the casing and the tank.... at the edge of the tank ... there is a plastic going round the tank..... so cannot measure lei .. and also dont know can take it out.... so need to ask Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hotbod999 Posted September 12, 2003 Share Posted September 12, 2003 Well, it does look a bit larger than usual, but the magnifying effect is also due to the 0.8cm thickness of the glass as well. The good thing about it is that it's not the usual squarish looking tank. Not that I'm against square tanks (I have another 2 ft square tank as well), but more importantly, it will suit your house deco and that you feel comfortable looking at it...which I am! I spent hours after work just staring at my pretty babies, like watching discovery channel! I wouldn't say that it's 'big' because you will always want a bigger tank after a while... and you will feel that your tank is ever so small no matter what size your tank measures.
