This is like a really excellent skimmer. The recirculating design allows the bubbles first shredded by the needlewheel to be reshredded again, making for a fine foamy milk. Great design from a superior German manufacturer. Pretty new too. Roidan, maybe you could state what was the original price you paid for this as a benchmark?

next time got money live in big landed house...can build bigger tank and still use the same skimmer..yipeeee..

Roidan, actually, that's a good idea. I can put the out-sump model for in-sump use -- if I have enough space. So, I got to be really sure about the size first.

Could you kindly help to measure the actual length taken up by the skimmer, please? I need the "actual" length, not just the footprint dimensions. I hope you understand what I mean and I hope it's not too much trouble for you.
