Nitrite Removal

Saw that in couple fo LFS, is this thing really work? Can we use this for intiate cycling?

Should only be for initial cycling because after cycling NO2 should not be present.

Even if NO2 is present is it usually not a problem due to the presence of chlorine as that inhibits that intake of NO2.

But then presence of NO2 usually means the tank is not fully cycled or some death stuffs is present and the filtration system is not able to handle it.

So, it that mean the Nitrite removal can really work and speed up the cycling process? (From 3~4 weeks to less than a week?)

Maybe but it is always better to cycle your tank naturally. Otherwise, when will know you can stop using Nitrite Removal.
