SRC Member Creetin Posted October 3, 2004 Author SRC Member Share Posted October 3, 2004 coralline algae is easy really. just maintain high kh (12-14dkh) and Ca (420-500) values... as for the plating effect, i think its e result of high flow..... SRC Member riot Posted October 4, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted October 4, 2004 Dosing kalk has great effects on CA growth too. Anything to maintain a high kh/ CA env. From my observations, CA do particularly well in high flow (they build up layered formations) and low/ medium light environments. They bleach/ burn under 400w . My CA has been seared off the back of my tank and are hidding under alcoves and the dimmer sides of my reef. But way to go creetin!
