i pull the clam out from the rock due to major rescaping. now something like string at the bottom of the clam.is it the meat or what? is it dying?

you what..... pulling out will mostly likely damage the byssal of the clams.. monitor it if not really doing well den probably its going up the lorry liao... cos damage byssal will egt infected and as time pass the clam will die....

juz attach the clam to a pc of LR. whether a clam is healthy or not, can be judge by the appearance of its mantles. u can oso test it by placing ur hand directly over ur tank, thus blocking the light source from the clam. if the clam reacts fast, i guess it is doing alright.

just tried putting my hand over the liggting and it reacted fast.
