Coralline algae

Yo all, any tips on how to keep or maintain coralline algae, and keep the purple colour algae growing?

I only add seachem advantage calcium...my experience was that when i drip kalk...the growth slower than when i add calcium now. It may differ from other reefers tank but thats what i experience.

When you add Calcium, you have to be very careful on dKH.

The formation of Coralline Algae uses more dKH than Calcium.

What about the Red Sea brand calcium supplement? Its stated that it won't alter the PH or the alkalanity(buffer capacity). Is it safer to use this instead of other brands of calcium supplements or kalk?
