Help on Blue Tang

jus bought a 4cm blue tang at $8. my damsels are attacking it.I dont think it can survive over a week. Any reefers pls give advice. Don't tell me 2 get the damsels out.They r 100% impossible to catch.

agree wif FuEl, get them out using a fish trap lol. do asearch for fish trap, shld be able to find some good info. damsels r greedy buggers, shld be easily caught.

I dont think there are any other way to solve the problem. I think its better to remove the damsels. The damsels will definately kill it, just like how it tore off my clown's fin back then. I managed to remove the damsels by attracting them with food near the surface and quickly net them out. Took hours man...and I told myself, no more damsels....

those greedy damsels will be enticed by almost any kind of fish food.

pellet food, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, etc.

put a betta box or a guppy hatchery into the tank and put food inside with the cover off. when the damsels go in to feed, quickly cover it or put a net over. then you can take your time to grab them out.
