MH150W + fan

Hi, just like to know if using fan for MH150w is temp under control ? Where do yr get the MH 150w with 14k DE bulb (only know victron have). Thanks.

My tank temp is with MH on 28 ( highest ), and in the morning 26.

Raining day, 25 and below

topup about 5% of total volume. So prepare. But need no chiller. However I believe electronicwise same as chiller

try to get chiller loh... nowadays resun chillers veri affordable...

1X150W if hang too high dun hav intensity... too low too hot....

less fans = high temp

more fans = high evaporation rate

if using tap water, high evaporation rate means more adding fresh water everyday... imagine how much phosphate n nitrate u add on to ur tank...

therefore, recommendation is 250W + chiller if u wanna get into sps in future

btw, heard victron got those 250W SE with reflectors at ard same price as the 150W DE...

if onli wan to be into softies, then 150W + fan could suffice...

if softies + LPS, then somewhere intermediate between both

My tank is next to window where has windblowing. No blocking eventhough my unit is 4th only.

And my MH is only 6" from water.

The most important things who want to use Fan, is need to have cooler air outside ( same as Chiller ). Otherwise it's can't cool down the tank.

I do notice that my 2 x 4" fan keep 2C below outside temp.

Hi All, thanks for the suggestion, yah get chiller solve all temp problem but my+

boss is not supportive lah! any thing big is expensive some more chiller look like a aircon to her....don't think can hid the price. I bog tunze 6060 and told her only $20

get a second hand chiller if buget is a constraint..... as for power, 0.1hp = 75 watt where air cond are rate higher.....
