List of the low or non light requirement corals

For information purposes about the minimum light requirments of certain corals so as to place corals at the right spot. I'll start with an example, pls add on and keep the list neat and non-repeatative.

Leather (sinularia) requires high light intensity?

Mine doesnt open... The dealer says my tank too bright. <_<

1)Bubbles (should be medium to high light)

2)Moon coral (should be medium )

3)softies (should be medium )

4)Elegance (should be medium to high light)

5)Plate coral (should be medium to high light)

6)blastomussa (should be medium )

7)Galaxy (should be medium )

8)Jeweled Finger (should be medium )

9)Tube coral ??

10)Sea Fan

11)Christmas Tree

12)Bubble tip anemone (should be medium to high light)

NON LIGHT

I will specify the L/M/H as followed

Low light (Under a shady area, normal 2-4 FL)

Medium light ( Under at least 3-4 T5 or PL)

Hight ( Under at least 150w MH)

Yeah Thioeh, I think yurs is more accurate.

But i think tube anemones can live in low light conditionds as they dont have the zoo. algae in their tissue. ;)

I know that for tube anemone... sometimes too bright lights will actually stress it.

I think the medium lights for them means enuff lights to actually see them thats all lah.. HAHA! :lol:

But they open better under the shadows of rocks and other corals. B)
