hi, i have a few qns regarding coral feeding:

1) wat other types of coral food i can feed to them, besides adding strotium, calcium, trace elements & iodine?

2) how to feed corals? can i jus pour the required amount of liquid straight into the tank, or is there other ways of doing so?

Thanks!! :P

ur question is very general leh... What corals u r refering? SPS or LPS? SPS, cannot help u 'cos I'm novice also. As for LPS like the button, sun, etc u can soak some of your fish food and then bring it to the mouth of the corals. It is very simple but lots of work.....

:) Greeting :)

Tank: 4' by 2' by 2' (CR antique)

Sump: 3' include 1' refuigm

I think in the first place, calcium, iodine and stronium are not coral food. If you target feed your coral with them, you are more likely to see dead coral.

To feed coral, you can use DT/Aquaz plankton for filter feeder. Just add the amount specified by the bottle accordingly to your tank size.

Alternatively, you can cut up some pieces of prawn and fill them to the mouth of the coral (for example, bubble, elegance, etc). If it is too much trouble, you could get Golden Pearl.
