where can i get a hand on a needlewheel pump

maybe we can mould it......should be able to do it.....

btw, even if they have, are u guys willing to pay??? if im not wrong, the aquabee needlewheel cost sgd100..... <_<

yeah thats why im not willing to pay cos the darn thing got not much technology into in. i juz hope some china company start producing needle wheel impellor for pumps like eheim.

one thing i noticed is that the eheim impellor is capable of producing very fine bubble if you let some air get sucked through it. this always happen when my sump water drops and the return pump sucks water with some air and the output is very fine bubbles. i wonder if i put a venturi at the intake and let the venturi generate the bubbles and then the impeller chops it up. dunno can or not. another diy coming up. at worst, it is a venturi skimmer ;-)

yeap.....fitting those DIY impaller can be quite tricky....and i think might not be cost effective to mould one as different pump have impaller needs....

I've tried Marco Needlewheel impaller and it seems to fit into a Rio 3100 but not a Aquabee 3000....
