SRC Member ckevin Posted October 4, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted October 4, 2004 Wow.. nice work there. Still going sps? 8 T5's will be more than sufficient for even light demanding SPS. Frankly, i think the usage of T5 is slowly gaining its foothold in reefing. Please keep up with the updates. Cheers!
DeepBlue
havent collect the T5s yet.......next week bah.... anyway...want to see success with lps first.....feels like a newbie all over again...
SRC Member ckevin Posted October 4, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted October 4, 2004 newbie? Hey dude, the knowledge you have is for keeps no matter how many times you start over I have 6 T5(also from Dr Evil) over my 11/2 cube and my SPS are doing great. Take a cue from Danano. T5 forever! Lps is lovely. My favorite being the octopus coral.

SRC Member jsoon Posted October 4, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted October 4, 2004 Deep Blue, I haven't been following the site but the last time I spoke to you, i remember you have a 4ft tank, what happen to it and the corals ?
DeepBlue
long story.....decided to move tank out of bedroom..then with all those corals..would be a pain to kepp sp many and shifting sps to a new tank can be dangerous.... so closed the tank...sold 90% of LS and corals.... now I have a smaller tank in the hall and a cooler night sleep My wife is definitely happy with the new arrangement
