caught a fireworm

ive caught a fireworm just now, in my office tank. the thing stretches to half a feet.

just wondering, is the worm predatory or purely a scavanger?

YUCK! 1/2 a feet!?

The biggest i caught is only about 5inches, and that freaks me out liao.

Laernt a valuable lesson too... no matter how desperate u are NEVER try catching teh darn thing with yur hands!

perhaps i shall keep it in a pail n see how big it can grow.

yeah, i didnt use my hands. i vaguely rem something about it being able to sting. so i used a dropper to hook it out.

cut it into small pieces and feed it to your fish. that's what I did the last time I caught one....

I also found such scale worm in my tank. But it is red, moving very slow, but later eaten by my pistol shrimp...
