:lol::D:lol:

It's huge and in really good condition when I bought it... nothing like the "just came in shipment" kind... those normally struggle a little... I bought a green & purple from Irwana for almost 2wks then it stablised... this guy... took only 10mins to stablise in my tank... Awesome centre piece... now I hope it will multiply and grow bigger... haha

Here's the trio green & purple

Bro, your yumas are :shock: . Very nice.

You might want to shift your acro away from your mushroom patch. Once the shrooms expand, there goes your acro.

Thanks for the good advise from a pro... :P

I'm trying to see how to bring the arcos to higher grounds... cos only got 150w 14K MH...

Here's a size comparison for the Red Yuma Ric & yellow Tang ...

I think on normal timings... the Red Ric is about 10cm in diameter... about the size of my palm...

My fav...

Wow, it's a red monster...........time to frag and benefit the sgp reef community...

Amm, you tank don't have Ric Florida hor.....time to frag the red and trade.. ;)

BEAUTIFUL RED YUMA....drool.....

yup... I lost 2 ric floridas in my tank on ML's last shipment couple of months back... they went floating around and after that went missing...

I'm saving up for new Ric Florida shipments... hopefully they'll come...

hey dude where did you get your wooden stand done?

It is from picket and rail...

your YT looks funny! only tummy fat, other area looks skinny..

I usually don't feed very much as mine is a 2.5ft, 40gal tank... very small and easily get PO4 or NO2 & NO3... some more my skimmer is only a remora... so my tang is under weight...

 nah... I don't think I will frag... :D

I think I will let it multiply over time and grow bigger... It's a good piece to start as a center piece... I'm preparing it for a 4ft tank next time... so want it as big as possible...

Maybe you can try the Fishing line method to help your yuma to split faster. :P

honestly...I have sucess fargging all sorts of mushrooms but not the red ones. :(

Maybe because dare not ry since hearing all the news abt its hypersensitivity. :P

Presently has two Red yumas that were damaged even before purchase, so trying my luck on them since the last two weeks or so...

1) Day 1 & 2 - melting very badly and one of them even splitted into four parts.

2) Day 3 - 5 - Melting but somehow subsided.

3) Day 6 - Did the lugol's dip. More melting.Do the gauze mehtod and secure rock and mushroom inside a big pvc part

4) Day 7 & 8 - Melting finally stopped. Some bleaching occurred.

5) Day 9 - 10 - Looked better except can't see the mouth of one of them.

6) Day 11 - Cut the dangling petals of one of them

7) Day 12 - observation took place

8) Day 13 - Lugol's dip again. More melting

9) Day 14 - One of them seems to be falling off the rock while the other has attached to a rock already.

10) Day 15 onwards..... keeping fingers crossed and praying... :P

My comments? Try not to try fragging with red yumas unless you can condone the numerous anxiety pangs from your observation of their progress...
